What is a reminder?

A reminder is a follow-up message sent to participants who received an invitation but have not yet completed the chat. Reminders help you increase completion rates by nudging participants to return and finish their responses.

What You Can Do with Reminders

  • Set a delivery timeframe - Choose when the reminder is sent, either immediately or on a schedule.

  • Target specific participants - Send reminders to all non-completers, or filter to a subset based on profile attributes.

  • Select the Engagement Locale - Choose which engagement locale group the reminder targets. The reminder automatically reaches only participants who were originally invited for that locale, ensuring they receive the correct locale-specific branding in both email and SMS. For single-locale chats, this is prefilled. For multi-lingual chats, select the locale from the dropdown. Unlike invitations, there is no Preferred Locale toggle for reminders because the locale matching is handled automatically based on how participants were originally invited.

  • Customize the message - Write the SMS or email content participants will receive.

  • Schedule or manually deliver - Send reminders on demand or schedule them for a future date and time.

Monitoring Reminders

You can view the status of each reminder, see how many participants were targeted versus how many completed, and track delivery progress from the Reminders list. The list also includes a Locale column showing the engagement locale for each reminder.
