Filters allow dashboard viewers to narrow down the data by specific demographic variables or profile attributes—making it easier to focus on relevant audience segments and uncover deeper insights.
1. Enter Edit Mode
From the dashboard header, click the Edit button to open the dashboard in edit mode.
2. Open the Filter Panel
Once in edit mode, go to the right-hand side filter panel.
Click the “+” (Add) action to open the Add Filter dialog.
3. Choose Filter Data Points
A list of available data points will appear in the dialog.
These will include custom profile (e.g., age, gender) and system profile attributes.
Select the data point(s) you want to add as filters.
4. Publish the Changes
After selecting your filters, click Publish to save and apply the updates.
This will update both the in-platform view and the public shared version of the dashboard.
🔄 Note: Once published, filters become visible to anyone accessing the shared dashboard via a public link. This enables stakeholders to explore the dashboard with filter controls—without needing to log into the platform.
