Overview
Anywhere you can add an image, you now have two ways to do it: upload your own file, or search and apply a free stock photo or illustration from Unsplash directly inside the editor. No account, download, or separate tool needed.
How to add one
Open the image editor (click into an Image Message card, or Edit Image on any existing image).
Click Stock Photos.
In the search dialog, either:
Type a search term (e.g. "entertainment"), or
Browse by category tab (Abstract, Animal, Nature, Art, Business, Colourful, and more)
Optionally narrow results by orientation: All Orientations, Landscape, Portrait, or Square.
Hover over any result and click Apply.
The dialog closes and the image is placed immediately, same as if you'd uploaded it.
After you apply it
Once a stock photo is applied, it's treated exactly like an uploaded image. All the usual options are still available from the edit panel:
Stock Photos (search again / swap for a different one)
Replace (swap in an uploaded file instead)
Crop
Delete
Alt text for accessibility (optional)
Enable full-screen image viewing
