The Participation Marker Card allows a chat author to update the participant’s engagement status before they reach the last node in a chat.
To add a participation marker
You can place it anywhere in the chat, but it's typically positioned near the end of the survey after the participant has answered all the questions if you are using it as a completion marker.
Use this as a disqualification marker when the survey is no longer relevant to the participant or when their responses indicate they should not continue.
Points to note:
You can add display logic to the participation marker
If no participation marker is included in the chat, then participant is automatically marked as Complete at the end of the chat.
Participation marker is only set once for a participant. The first participation marker encountered in the flow is the participant engagement status set for the participant and it is not changed during the chat flow.
