Creating a Folder
Go to the level where you want the new folder - this can be All chats or inside an existing folder.
Trigger folder creation (button/action in the list toolbar).
Type a name for the folder. There's no default name - you must enter one and the click Create
As you type, the name is checked for validity and uniqueness. The Create button stays disabled until the name passes:
It's between 1 and 256 characters.
It has no leading or trailing spaces, tabs, or line breaks.
No other folder in your research domain already has that name - this check isn't limited to the current level, it looks across the whole research domain (matching is not case-sensitive).
4. Your new folder should appear in the list
Creating a Subfolder
Creating a folder while you're already inside another folder creates a subfolder of the one you're in.
You can nest folders up to two levels below All chats (All chats > Folder > Subfolder).

You can create a folder at All chats (this becomes a Level 1 folder).
You can create a folder inside a Level 1 folder (this becomes a Level 2 folder).
You cannot create a folder inside a Level 2 folder - the create action is disabled there, with a tooltip explaining the limit.
