Open the chat you want to duplicate (or use the ⋯ menu on the All Chats table and select Duplicate chat).

Scenario	What Happens
Single-locale → Single-locale	Standard copy - all content duplicated as-is.
Single-locale → Multi-locale	Default locale content is copied. Secondary locales in the new chat receive the original text plus default translations where available.
Multi-locale → Multi-locale (matching locales)	Locale-specific content copies over for each matching locale.
Multi-locale → Multi-locale (different locales)	Matching locales copy their content. Non-matching locales receive the default locale text and default translations where available.
