Understanding the Chat Interface

All Chats Table

  • The All Chats table shows the following columns: Chat name, Status, Chat category, Default locale, Additional locales, Last updated, Created by, and Actions (⋯ menu).

  • Each chat row has an Actions menu (⋯) with options including: Edit chat, Duplicate chat, Delete chat, Archive chat, Export chat script with media references, and Export chat script.

  • The Additional locales column shows any secondary locales configured on a chat, so you can identify multi-lingual chats at a glance.

Chat Header

  • The header displays your chat name and key information.

  • All chat-level actions (edit settings, duplicate, bulk edit, etc.) are consolidated under a single Actions dropdown button in the top right.

Chat Tree

  • The chat tree is where you build your chat flow by adding cards (questions, messages, logic, etc.).

  • Locale selector (multi-lingual chats only): A dropdown at the top of the tree shows the current locale with a country flag and locale code. Your default locale is labelled DEFAULT. Click the dropdown to switch to another locale.

  • Variables: Chat variables are displayed as part of the chat tree (not in a separate tab).

  • The tree header scrolls with the section as you navigate through the chat.
