You can change a chat's locale configuration after creation - add new secondary locales or remove unpublished ones. You can also duplicate and create chats from scripts with locale inheritance.
Adding or Removing Locales
There are two ways to access the locale settings:
From the All Chats table: Click the ⋯ (Actions) menu on the chat row and select Edit chat.
From inside the chat: Click the Actions menu in the chat header and select Edit chat settings.
Adding a Locale
Open the Edit chat drawer using either method above.
Select a new secondary locale from the dropdown.
Click Save.
The new locale is added immediately - no page refresh is required. The new locale inherits the default locale's text values and any applicable i18n translations as a starting point.
Removing a Locale
Open the Edit chat drawer.
Click the remove icon next to the locale you want to remove.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Click SAVE to remove.
Important:
You can only remove unpublished locales. Published locales cannot be removed.
Removing a locale does not affect content in any other locale.
