Open Ended Cards

The open-ended cards allow a participant to provide an answer to a question during a chat. This could be in the form of text, number, Image or Video.

  • Text Open End - The participant can submit a text response

In the card settings, you have an option to enable or disable copy and paste settings. By default, this feature is turned off, which means that respondents will be able to copy and paste text into the answer field when this question is asked.

  • Numeric Open End - The participant can only submit a numeric response.

Using the 'Settings' button, chat author can set the minimum and maximum limits for a number that can be entered by the participant and/or allow decimals.

  • Image Open End - The participant can either upload an existing image using the upload image button or click a picture directly using the take photo button.

  • Video Open End - The participant can either upload an existing video using the upload video button or record a video directly using the record video button

All the question fields allow the chat author to insert a link or a pipe.

The image and video open end questions do not have an upload limit currently. But the upload might be impacted or limited by factors like upload speed, carrier, device memory, browser settings etc. of the respondent.
